At about $125 this is the cheapest timing belt kit we could find for our 96 Eagle Vision. It was unclear whether or not it came with the the automatic tensioner thing. It does. This is a complete kit and includes; the timing belt, water pump, water pump gasket, tensiorer pully, hydralic tensioner, a sticker to write when it needs changed again, and some rather poor instructions for changing it.If you are going to change this yourself I suggest watching this video:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=C1oIT6s_RxoIn the video they removed the radiator. We were able to complete the repair without pulling the radiator, and instead just pulling the radiator fans. You will probably also need a "Chrysler Harmonic Balancer Puller" to pull the crankshaft pulley thing witch can be borrowed from Autozone. While the repair isn't super basic, it isn't too bad as long as you know what your doing. My guess is that if you know these are the parts you need, you can probably handle the repair. Basically, you drain the coolant, remove the radiator fan, remove the top radiator hose (might not have to remove the hose, but I recommend it), remove the belts, remove the harmonic balancer, remove the timing belt covers, take the old tensioner off, take the old tensioner pulley off, take the old water pump off, put the new stuff on, time the engine, and reassemble.
