We've gone through 2 of these & are not impressed now. The first one lasted 3 trips last year, one of them was a 2 day trip to Lake Powell.Winterized it & pulled it out a couple weeks ago, checked on the impeller & the cage had spun inside the housing & melted the housing.Ordered another one & called our local boat repair shop for an opinion as to why the last impeller only lasted us 3 trips, he said to try greasing it. So we did that & had it out on the lake for maybe 3 hours for our sons birthday party, got home & it was beginning to melt the housing again.Don't waste your money. The only thing I can think of is the plastic that the housing is made out of isn't made with a high heat resistant material. ?♀️
